Julie-Ann Mack, our owner and primary instructor, is a member of Dance Educators of America (DEA).  She has been dancing since the age of two. A seasoned performer and competitor, she has won top honors at many local and national dance competitions, including Dance Masters of America and Terpsichore. Julie studied modern dance and classical ballet at the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. As a member of the United States Amateur Ballroom Dance Association (USABDA), Julie taught ballroom dance and competed in collegiate level competitions, winning numerous awards. She also choreographed for and performed in college and community theater productions, including Iolanthe, My Fair Lady, Godspell, Conquistadors and Lend Me a Tenor. After graduation, Julie performed on the Spirit of Boston Cruise Ship and taught dance with her childhood mentor, Kathy Medina, where she was awarded for her choreography. Julie has also given private lessons to countless couples preparing for their first dance as husband and wife. Her move back to Bridgewater, with her husband Jonathan and daughter Abigail led to the opening of Julie's Studio of Dance at the Joppa!

Erin Andrews, instructor, is a graduate of Bridgewater State College. She studied dance at Sherry Gold's Dance Unlimited from the time she was two. She honed her hip hop skills throughout her high school and collegiate careers. Erin is an incredible asset to the studio teaching hip hop, cardio kickboxing, zumba and our basic ballet, tap and jazz classes.  This is Miss Erin's fifth year teaching with us and we are thrilled.  She really has given our studio funk!

Teri Aker, our Saturday morning preschool and kinderdance teacher, studied dance at the Plouffe School of Dance for twenty years. She taught dance for eight years until her hiatus to start her family. Her favorite styles of dance are lyrical and ballet.  This is Miss Teri's fourth year teaching with us.  She is loved by all her students (and us, too!)  She is a wonderful addition to our staff and family here at Julie's Studio of Dance and we are happy to have her back for the 2009 - 2010 season!

Kerry Campbell, our preschool music teacher, graduated in 1993 from Bridgewater State College with a degree in Elementary Education. She has sung with several local choirs, including "No Strings Attached", an a cappella quartet which has made audition recordings for the MMEA Southeast District and All-State Choral Conferences. In seeking to give her own children a musical foundation from an early age, Kerry developed much of the curriculum she now uses in the "Exploring Music" class. Her goal in presenting a variety of creative musical activities is to foster a life-long love of music in the lives of children.
