This class is separated into three sections: ballet, tap and jazz. Students will learn introductory techniques and terms associated with formal ballet, tap and jazz training. Major emphasis on ballet technique and barre work, center tap work and flexibility.
Dress Requirement: leotard, convertible tights, pink ballet slippers, black tap shoes, hair up off neck and face.
PRIMARY:

ADVANCED:
This class is separated into four sections: ballet, tap, jazz and modern. Students will learn advanced techniques and terms associated with formal ballet, tap, jazz and modern/contemporary training. Major emphasis on ballet technique and barre work, center tap work, flexibility and balance.
Dress Requirement: leotard, convertible tights, pink pointe shoes, pink ballet slippers, black tap shoes, hair up off neck and face.
***PRE-POINTE & POINTE:
Teacher and doctor approval required. Must also be enrolled in either Secondary or Advanced ballet.
JOYFUL DANCE:
A creative dance class for kids, teens and young adults with special needs. During each week’s class, students will learn many styles of dance including hip hop, ballet, jazz, tap, creative movement, contemporary and line dancing.
HIP HOP INTRO:
Students will learn simplified versions of the latest hip hop dance moves all in a kid friendly musical environment. Major emphasis on movement, style and class participation.
Dress Requirement: comfortable clothing, long pants (or shorts with knee pads) and sneakers.
HIP HOP 1:
Students will learn the latest hip hop dance moves in a kid friendly musical environment. Major emphasis on movement, attitude, style and class participation.
